becomes home to yet another record-breaking attraction as it welcomes , the world鈥檚 largest timber-towered suspension bridge, this fall.
This pedestrian bridge, which was inspired by the 鈥淢,鈥 stretches 1,200 feet and stands between the peaks of McLouth and Disciples Ridge, approximately 118 feet above the valley floor.
The SkyBridge Michigan experience begins with a chairlift ride to the top of the mountain. From there, guests can take an open-air walk across the bridge for breathtaking views of the foliage and surrounding landscape. They can also brave a 36-foot section at the middle of the bridge that features a glass floor and an unobstructed look at ground below.
鈥淲ith four-season appeal,听SkyBridge听Michigan is a major attraction for Boyne Mountain Resort, as well as the entire northern Michigan region,鈥 Erin Ernst, Boyne Mountain Resort鈥檚 director of communications said in a press release. 鈥淭he bridge brings an offering that鈥檚 extremely unique for our area. It鈥檚 an exciting must-do when planning a trip to northern Michigan, whether for families, couples, or friends.鈥
In addition to SkyBridge Michigan, visitors of Boyne Mountain Resort can enjoy a plethora of other attractions including Michigan鈥檚 largest indoor water park, , the 18,500-sqaure-foot Spa at Boyne Mountain, two golf courses, hiking trails, and much more.
SkyBridge Michigan is set to open to the public on Oct. 15, 2022. It will be open daily from 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m. through Oct. 31. Then, Friday-Sunday only Nov. 4-Dec. 4. It will reopen daily for the winter season beginning December 9.
Fall ticket prices start at $25/adults, $20/seniors, $15/kids ages 3-10 and free for kids under 2.
