William Shatner, Freddie Prinze Jr., & More to Appear at Motor City Comic Con

It鈥檚 not too late to snag tickets to this year鈥檚 Motor City Comic Con. Taking place at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, the three-day event kicks off on May 13 and features William Shatner, Freddie Prinze Jr., Krysten Ritter, Alicia Silverstone, and many more celebrities along with comic guests, events and attractions, and exhibitors.

Among the many scheduled events are panels with the aforementioned guests as well as Carey Jones, a special effects and make-up artist who has worked on shows like The Walking Dead and Watchmen; AEW wrestlers Ruby Soho and Adam Cole; Scream鈥檚 Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lillard, and Jamie Kennedy; and cast members from all four Superman films, who will reflect on their time working with the late Christopher Reeve. There will be plenty of autograph and photo opportunities, too.

Motor City Comic Con visitors can also enjoy attractions such as face painting, cosplay contests for adults and kids, a Dino & Dragon Stroll, a display of cars from movies like Ghostbusters and Jurassic Park, and the Artist Alley, a space where amateur and semi-professional artists will display their prints, novels, and paintings.

Additionally, attendees can browse items from more than 30 crafters, including Doggy Danna, which makes dog bandanas inspired by Star Wars, Harry Potter, and other pop culture phenomena; Darcy Farrow, who creates accessories, prints, and home goods with references to goddesses, zodiac signs, and other magical things; and Wood Turned Magic, a Michigan maker who creates artisan wands handcrafted from wood. And Chicago Costume Co., Ohio graphic novel retailer Gem City Books, and Galactic Toys & Collectibles are among the businesses on this year鈥檚 long lineup of vendors.

Tickets for adults (individuals who are 13 years of age and older) are $30 on Friday, $40 on Saturday, and $35 on Sunday. Kids five and under are free all weekend, while kids 6-12 are $10 on Friday and Saturday and free on Sunday鈥檚 Kids Day.

Weekend passes 鈥 $85 for adults and $20 for kids 鈥 are also available as is a $249 VIP package, which includes access to all three days, a VIP badge, VIP seating in panels, VIP fast pass for autographs, a $25 gift certificate to the merch booth, and more. While shipping is no longer available, tickets can still be purchased online and picked up at will call.
