Heroes and Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume

The Heroes and Villains traveling exhibit is currently showing at the Henry Ford Museum, allowing metro Detroiters the chance to see the iconic costumes from their favorite Disney movies up close. The vast display features more than 70 original pieces from 32 different films. Highlights include Cruella de Vil鈥檚 dress from the 2000鈥檚 101听Dalmatians, the famous ball gown from the 2015 adaptation of Cinderella, Jack Sparrow鈥檚 Pirates of the Caribbean costume, and Mary Poppins鈥檚 traveling dress from the original 1964 film. $24+. Romeo & Juliet

Shakespeare Royal Oak returns, presenting an open-air production of William Shakespeare鈥檚 classic comedy-tragedy Romeo & Juliet. This timely reinterpretation is set in a war-torn Verona, plagued by climate crisis and unrest. Zac Brown Band

Since 2002, the Atlanta-based Zac Brown Band has been cranking out its unique brand of 鈥渟outhern rock鈥 music, earning three Grammy Awards in the process. This weekend, the group will perform at Pine Knob Music Theatre as part of its Out in the Middle Tour, accompanied by country singer-songwriter Caroline Jones, who is best known for her 2021 single 鈥淐ome In (but Don鈥檛 Make Yourself Comfortable).鈥 $40.50+. When political corruption and violent unrest divide his native Venezuela, the conductor of the Sim贸n Bol铆var Symphony Orchestra, Gustavo Dudamel, must decide whether to use his platform to speak publicly against the powers that be. The world鈥檚 most famous drag queen, RuPaul, has taken his show on the road this summer for the Werq the World 2022 tour. Noah Jackson and Full Circle

Huey Flight Experience
