Bobblehead Collection for 125th Anniversary of MSU Basketball Unveiled

The collection is being released by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum and features five limited-edition bobbleheads.

Yesterday, the in Milwaukee unveiled a collection of limited-edition, officially licensed bobbleheads in celebration of the 125th anniversary of .

The collection features five bobbleheads including one of the MSU mascot, Sparty, and two Hall of Fame coaches: Jud Heathcote and Tom Izzo.

The Sparty figure features the mascot holding a basketball and giving a no. 1 signal. There are two bobblehead options for Heathcote and Izzo. Pick from the ones that feature each coach standing on a basketball court base with their names and the 125th anniversary logo or the Championship Celebration bobbleheads, which feature Heathcote holding the net on a court with the logo and Izzo standing on a ladder holding the net in the air after cutting it down.

Each of the bobbleheads in the collection are individually numbered to 2,023 and are available for preorder on the museum鈥檚 website. The Sparty bobblehead is $40, the coach bobbleheads are $30, and the Championship Celebration bobbleheads are $35. A complete set is $150. There is a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.

They are expected to ship in March.

According to a press release, Michigan State Basketball played their first season in 1898 and have made 36 NCAA Tournaments, including 25 consecutive appearances, since 1957.

They have advanced to the Sweet Sixteen 21 times, the Elite Eight 14 times, and have won 16 regular-season championships along with six tournament championships.
