Blake鈥檚 Orchard and Cider Mill will host its third annual Cider Dayze Festival on August 26 and 27, boasting more beer, more games, and of course, more cider than previous years.

The festival will offer beverages from almost 40 Michigan cideries, wineries, and breweries, in addition to some national craft beverage brands, all on the 800-acre farm.

Live bands and a silent disco will provide festivalgoers the opportunity to dance while more competitive attendees can participate in activities including lawn-sized beer pong, a beer stein hold competition, kan jam, hammerschlagen, cornhole, and frisbeer. This year will also feature free yoga classes on both days.

Local food trucks will bring the bites (available for additional purchase) to help hold off your hunger.

Advanced tickets are $45 for Saturday (noon to 8:00 p.m,) or $40 on Sunday (noon to 5 p.m.). Each ticket includes nine 5-ounce samples and a commemorative glass. Tickets can be purchased online . In addition, designated driver tickets are available for only $20.

As an added bonus for our readers, enter discount code HOURDETROIT, to save $10 off the price of admission.

All proceeds from the non-profit event will go towards local charities through the Armada Lions Club.
