TreeRunner Adventure Parks — an aerial park with locations in Rochester, West Bloomfield, and Grand Rapids that offers zip lining, high-ropes courses, and other obstacles — is putting a spooky spin on its Glow Nights event. Held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout October, HallowGlow Glow Nights combine Halloween traditions with heightened adventures.

TreeRunner typically hosts Glow Nights throughout the summer. During each event, the park is illuminated with lights. Now, the park is offering a spooky version of the event with eerie lighting and decorations. HallowGlow Glow Nights attendees are encouraged to wear costumes, and Halloween-themed photo ops are spread out across the grounds.

Courses, which are open to guests 7 years of age and older, range from beginner level climbing to advanced difficulty and are labeled to guide guests. Should anyone become frightened, team members are available to lower climbers down from any element. All guests receive a trick-or-treat bag full of pre-wrapped candies to take home once they complete the course.

Keeping COVID-19 safety precautions in mind, the TreeRunner staff is offering verbal instruction to help anyone into or out of their equipment. For those who need help on the course, staff wearing gloves, face masks, and face shields will be available to assist. Visitors are asked to wear medical-grade face masks — not just Halloween masks. Shared surfaces are also disinfected between each group’s climbing experience.

HallowGlow Glow Nights tickets range from $42 to $49. The Halloween event may be visitors’ last chances to climb TreeRunner’s obstacles this season. Each park is open until the end of October, but the schedule is varied after this month, depending on the weather.
