Global Health Charities, a nonprofit dedicated to reducing infant and maternal mortality rates in vulnerable communities around the world, held its 2024 Let Life Bloom Gala on Nov. 15. The event, which was hosted by St. John’s Resort in Plymouth, kicked off with a cocktail hour followed by dinner and a special program, silent auction and a raffle. Proceeds from the event totaled just over $25,600 and went to help Global Health Charities purchase supplies needed to create its Clean Birth Kits, which helps stop infections during childbirth and ultimately saves lives.
