The Louis Vuitton shop at Somerset Collection is debuting a new look. Today, the French luxury fashion brand unveiled its expanded store at the Troy shopping center, and according to a press release, the location now offers a VIP room, women鈥檚 and men鈥檚 ready-to-wear collections, and watches and jewelry.
Along with these additions, the store features a larger selection of women鈥檚 and men鈥檚 accessories, shoes, leather goods, lifestyle items, gifts, travel goods, and fragrances. Customers can also shop custom items at the expanded store. Engraving services are available at the fragrance counter, and hot stamping services are offered for leather goods.
The brand says the shop鈥檚 interior was designed to reflect Louis Vuitton鈥檚 heritage and commitment to craftsmanship. The store features artwork by locals 鈥 including a triptych by Birmingham abstract/geometric painter Jennifer Kroll and an embroidered canvas by Detroit visual artist Frank Lepkowski 鈥 as well as international artists. Stand-out furniture and d茅cor pieces, such as a 1981 white stone coffee table by sculptor Paul Kingma and ceramics from Netherlands-based Studio Floris Wubben, have also been added to the space.听听
The expanded store is opening with a special window display that celebrates the 200th anniversary of the birth of Monsieur Louis Vuitton, who founded his namesake fashion brand in Paris in 1854. The display features digitized versions of the Louis Vuitton trunk reimagined by 鈥渘otable innovators,鈥 including feminist writer and organizer Gloria Steinem, architect Peter Marino, and popular K-pop group BTS.
Louis Vuitton is located on the first level of the south side of Somerset Collection. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
